Giving Back

Giving back is an important part of our purpose here at Belron UK. Our latest activity supported our local hospice charity Sue Ryder with their fundraising drive to collect and recycle Christmas trees.

Real Christmas trees are 100% recyclable and can be turned into compost or wood chippings which can be spread over local parks, gardens or landscaping projects instead of going to landfill.
This green scheme raises vital funds so that the Sue Ryder Charity can continue offering compassionate palliative care and bereavement support for people suffering from life-limiting conditions and their families.

On Thursday 11th and Friday 12th January, 28 volunteers went out and helped collect Christmas trees using Autoglass® vans so that the Sue Ryder Charity could continue being there when it matters for individuals and families who are navigating the most difficult times. This process usually takes up to 10 days but with the help from our volunteers and other local businesses it took 2!
