Autoglass® and Aviva collaborate to simplify online insurance claims

Autoglass®, the UK’s leading vehicle glass repair and replacement company, has launched a new integrated online tool with insurance partner Aviva, enabling Aviva customers to make a windscreen insurance claim through the MyAviva portal. 

The increased digital collaboration between the two companies allows Aviva customers, using their MyAviva portal, to make a windscreen glass claim with a one-step online process, increasing the speed and ease of the process.  

This is the first time Aviva Insurance has partnered with a supplier to create a fully integrated digital pathway using MyAviva. The new tool demonstrates the benefits of combined digital collaboration as it securely pre-populates customer information, the motorists’ Vehicle Registration Number and all other relevant pieces of information for the purposes of the claim, which is transferred over securely from the MyAviva portal. This transforms the user experience into a seamless journey enabling a windscreen claim to be processed online within minutes.   

The service launched in the last quarter of 2018 as part of Avivia’s global partnership with Belron ®, the parent company of Autoglass®.
