We invest in research and development more than anyone else in the industry. Our training guarantees that wherever you are, the same high quality process is delivered nationwide to ensure that our service comes with no compromises. Our exclusive tools are just part of the reason we’re able to do that.
Glass Medic®

Our patented Glass Medic® process coupled to our exclusive primer and HPX3 resin truly sets us apart from the rest. A dry vacuum process removes the air in the damage – without any resin interference. The resin is introduced to the system only when the break is completely degassed. This allows the resin to flow in and fill the break completely. The final result is the dry vacuum process is a more efficient way of filling damages.
- A specialized tool and suction pump create a complete vacuum over the stone chip or crack to extract trapped air, moisture, and fine debris from the laminated layers.
- High-grade optical resin (such as specialized RAS or HPX3 formulas) is injected under pressure into the microscopic crevices and legs of the break.
- A pit filler is applied over the surface and cured using an ultraviolet (UV) lamp, restoring structural integrity and clarity.
- A standard windscreen chip repair using the process takes approximately 30 minutes
The Ezi-Wire®

The Ezi-Wire® provides a safe and controlled way of using a wire to remove a bonded windscreen. It not only minimises the possible risk to both the operator and vehicle during the process, but also enables the removal of the windscreen intact. Fireline is positioned against the PU on the outside edge of the glass and around the equipment, then gradually wound in, cutting through the PU in the process which includes:
The main advantages of using the Ezi-Wire® are:
- The cut is clean and tidy and the vehicle easily protected using the equipment provided.
- No tugging or pulling is required to achieve the cutting action; with the Ezi-Wire you simply turn a handle to do the cutting. This reduces the physical effort involved by the technician and the possible injuries that can occur.
The Ezi-Wire™ has been selected by the global Belron® Technical Team as THE preference tool of choice for the following reasons:
- Best tool available on the market for a professional outlook towards the customer & to the cutting out process.
- Lowest risk for any damage to the vehicle when using Hydrogel fibre wire as instructed.
- Ergonomically the best tool available to cut out glass.
- Minimum risk for (severe) personal injuries due to the low forces required & the method used for cutting.
- User friendly and very versatile.
- For some cars with carbon body, apertures it is mandatory to use Hydrogel fibre wire to cut out the glass. (I.e. BMW i3, i8). More of these kind of cars will come to the market.
The 1TEK®

The 1-Tek is Berlon®‘s patented lifting aid that helps technicians safely install windscreens with greater precision and less physical strain. 1-Tek is a windscreen lifting and positioning device designed to help a single technician safely lift, manoeuvre and accurately install vehicle glass, particularly large or heavy windscreens
Key purposes of the 1-Tek:
- Reduces manual lifting effort when handling windscreens.
- Helps position the glass accurately into the vehicle aperture for a right-first-time installation.
- Reduces the risk of back strain and injury to technicians.
- Allows one technician to perform a task that might otherwise require two people.
- Commonly used alongside the Glass Table System (GTS) and Multi-Lifters during glass preparation and installation.
The Vanbrella®

Our iconic van canopy is a deployable awning mounted to the roof of the technician’s van that creates a sheltered work area alongside the vehicle. It is intended to provide a safe, stable working environment. The Vanbrella® is there to create a weather-protected work area, improving repair quality, technician safety, and the ability to work in poor conditions.
ART – Advanced Repair Technology
Autoglass® is driving improved efficiency with the launch of a semi-automated kit to assist technicians in windscreen repair. Advanced Repair Technology (ART) was designed to deliver consistently high-quality repairs and reduce the mechanical stress put onto the glass.
The kit increases the success of repairs by reducing the pressure on the glass during the process. The craftsmanship of the technician is still vital to prepare the damage for the ART and to finish the repaired damage. The success of a repair cycle without interference of the technician is 45% when using the older system; it is 80 to 85% when using the ART.
